The road wasn't even accessible with our WSDOT vehicles, so he's out on a Sno-Cat to evaluate conditions. Status: excellent for hockey, not that great for driving. Westbound I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass will reopen at 5:30 p.m. Eastbound is open but we will continue to monitor conditions throughout the night. US 2 Stevens Pass is likely to remain closed in both directions overnight. US 12 White Pass is open. FINAL 1:52 p.m.: The good news? US 2 Stevens Pass is back open with chains required on all vehicles except AWD/4WD (all vehicles must have chains availble). The not so good news? Heavy snow is in the forecast for tonight into tomorrow so more closures and delays are possible. Please be prepared. UPDATE 12:04 p.m.: Both White Pass and Snoqualmie Pass are now open.
