This event generated a 900-meter plume that drifted southwest, as captured by the thermal camera of the Daang Kastila Observation Station (VTDK) on the northern rim of the Main Crater. A precursory signal preceded the event by almost six minutes as recorded by the Calauit Observation Station (VTCT) on the southeastern Volcano Island. Alert Level 1
